Therapeutic Support for Parents of Neurodivergent Children
Are you supporting a neurodivergent child who is struggling with overwhelm, anxiety, autistic burnout, school avoidance or emotional regulation? Are you navigating the SEND system and finding yourself feeling overwhelmed, exhausted or unsure where to turn?
Parenting a neurodivergent child can bring moments of joy, connection and deep understanding, but it can also involve uncertainty, exhaustion and challenges that can feel difficult to navigate alone. ThriveWell Parenting Support offers compassionate, neuro-affirming therapeutic support for parents of neurodivergent children, helping you make sense of your experiences, strengthen your own wellbeing and develop strategies to support both yourself and your family.
I offer interventions focused on supporting your own emotional wellbeing while you navigate the challenges of caring for a neurodivergent child. Drawing on my clinical expertise as a therapist, alongside my personal experience of navigating SEND support as a parent, I provide a compassionate and understanding space tailored to your individual circumstances.
How I can support you
Whether you are looking for an opportunity for a one-off clinical session to explore the main difficulties, a course of structured, focused sessions or longer term therapy, I am confident there is an option that suits you.

Parent Wellbeing Programme (4 sessions)£380
Structured therapeutic support for parents
Parenting a neurodivergent child can be incredibly rewarding, but it can also be emotionally demanding. Many parents find themselves exhausted, overwhelmed or struggling to prioritise their own wellbeing while managing the needs of everyone else.
This four-session programme provides focused, structured support to help you better understand your experiences, strengthen your own emotional wellbeing and develop practical ways of navigating the challenges you face.
Together, we'll explore themes such as understanding your child's needs, managing stress and overwhelm, regulating your own nervous system, navigating services, setting boundaries and building confidence in your parenting journey.
This option is ideal if you're looking for a focused piece of work with clear goals and practical outcomes.

Individual Therapy
Ongoing therapy for your own mental health and wellbeing
Sometimes the challenges of parenting uncover deeper difficulties that deserve their own space and attention. You may be experiencing anxiety, burnout, depression, trauma, grief, guilt or longstanding patterns that have become increasingly difficult to manage.
Individual therapy provides a confidential space to explore your own experiences in greater depth. Therapy is tailored to your needs and goals, drawing on evidence-based approaches including EMDR, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT) and somatic approaches where appropriate.
Unlike the Parent Wellbeing Programme, ongoing therapy is not limited to a set number of sessions. We work collaboratively at a pace that feels right for you, reviewing progress regularly and agreeing together when therapy has achieved its goals.
This option is suitable if you're seeking support for your own mental health, whether or not those difficulties are connected to parenting.

I am deeply committed to ongoing learning and reflection, integrating new insights from research, lived experience (as a parent to SEND children) and neurodivergent voices into my clinical work.
